Paul Bridgland

Principle Organiser

“I’ve been running the Surrey Business Expo for the past 10 years in Guildford, after a harsh 2020 and cancellation of the show, I’m delighted to team up with Steve Page to put on our biggest and best show yet and for the first time running over two days”.

Paul’s background is in the events and presentation industry, organising large corporate events since 1985 – in 2000 Paul sold his company Creation Station and embarked on a solo career.  Paul also runs Connect Surrey  …  a local business networking group that meets regularly in Guildford, Farnham, Woking, Leatherhead and Dorking.

“I’m so pleased to be asked to join the Surrey Business Expo team. My aim is to assist Paul with events expertise and take this well-established expo to the next level. I’ve visited and exhibited at this and many other shows and can’t wait to make this expo an innovative market-leading show.”

Steve brings over 20 years event industry experience to the table. Which covers all aspects of the industry from expos to festivals, weddings to event hire and parties to event venues.  More recently Steve set up Surrey Event Professionals, a collaborative collective of over 100 of Surrey finest event, wedding and venue professionals. A group working together to support each other, the local community and grow their business.

Jonathan Bird

Head of Media & Marketing

Jonathan Bird is a proven business owner, international speaker, philanthropist and dedicated marketer. He is the CEO of Delivered Social, a digital marketing agency based in Guildford, and a founding member of Surrey Drive, a charitable group helping the NHS staff during the Covid-19 crisis.

He uses his vast knowledge of social media platforms to deliver expert business advice to high-profile clients in various sectors, including both corporates and charities. Nominated for a number of awards, his proudest to date is  Guildford’s Mayor’s 2020 Award for Service to the Community.

Claire Addicott

Expo Co-ordinator

Claire has recently graduated, achieving 2.1 in Social Anthropology M.A at The University of Edinburgh, UK, with an exchange year aboard at The University of Sydney, Australia. Claire has set her sights on the Exhibition and Events industry and brings to the the team energy and enthusiasm and a very positive ‘can do’ attitude.

Claire recently joined Surrey Events Professionals as their new administrator and is based at the new home of SEP, Guildford Pavilion. When she is not helping with the expo, she assists the day to day operation of the Pavilion and some other exciting SEP projects.
